The teenagers of America have spoken, and they (heart) Lindsay Lohan and are totally BFF with "The O.C." and Usher.

The "Mean Girls" star, the FOX series and the R&B artist each won four trophies at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards, which air on FOX Wednesday (Aug. 11). The awards show taped Sunday at L.A.'s Universal Amphitheater.

Lohan, 18, got her fellow teens' votes for favorite movie actress (comedy), "Choice Hissy Fit" and "Choice Movie Blush," all for her performance in "Mean Girls." That movie and "Freaky Friday" earned her the title of breakout female movie star.

"The O.C.," meanwhile, took the honors for breakout TV series and choice TV drama. Stars Adam Brody and Mischa Barton won individual awards. Usher took four awards in the music categories, including choice album for his disc "Confessions."

Adam Sandler, Ashlee Simpson, Chad Michael Murray and Ashton Kutcher also won multiple awards at the show, hosted by "Simple Life" stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
